What is a Co-Ed Fraternity?

A co-ed fraternity is a group of young men and women drawn together by a common interest in order to create an everlasting bond between themselves and a name to be known as, Alpha Kappa Psi - Tau Psi chapter. There are other chapters in the United States and across the Atlantic Ocean in the United Kingdom. They are all united as brothers under AKPsi. Whether you are seeking a bed to sleep in another city or looking for a job away from home, you can count on the brothers of Alpha Kappa Psi to look out for you. This is what a fraternity is all about.  

Do You Haze?

No. Alpha Kappa Psi is an international fraternity with strict anti-hazing guidelines and rules. All pledge and brother activities are designed to build teamwork, professional development, brotherhood, and most importantly, trust amongst brothers.  

Will My Grades Suffer?

Not unless you let them. We have organized study groups available, and reward brothers who do well academically in many ways. Throughout the fraternity, you can find help in all subjects.  

What is the Process for Rush?

Official Rush is a week-long process of great events and good times that culminates on Bids Day and successful rushees being inducted into pledges. At AKPsi, we hold four official rush functions. If invited, you will receive an invitation to this event after the third official rush event. We genuinely appreciate your interest in our fraternity and there will be plenty more opportunities down the road for you to gain membership in Alpha Kappa Psi.
